As CEO and president, Galan is responsible for day-to-day leadership of Bradley, Foster & Sargent and for directing the long-term growth and business strategy of the firm. Galan also serves on the investment committee and board of directors.
Galan has over 35 years of investment management, wealth management, mutual fund, and trust experience. He has held executive leadership positions with prominent firms, including Harbor Capital Management, The Managers Funds division of Affiliated Managers Group, and Fleet Investment Advisors. He also worked in the financial services practice of the international consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Galan began his career in portfolio management with Drexel Burnham Lambert. He has achieved the designations of both Chartered Financial Analyst® and Certified Financial Planner™.
